This past week, actor Robert Pattinson officially announced his upcoming clothing line in an interview with Numéro magazine. As the face of the Dior Homme fragrance, it’s no surprise that Pattinson would want a taste of the fashion world, like many male celebrities that came before him. While the fashion industry champions determination, risk-taking and trendsetting, some celebrity designers have had less success than others. So while we wait for more news on Pattinson’s clothing line, we take a look at a few other clothing lines designed by male celebrities.

Justin Timberlake — William Rast
Co-founded with his lifelong friend Trace Ayala in 2006, Timberlake’s premium denim company accrues $50 million annually making it one of the most successful celebrity clothing lines. In its most recent campaign, the company featured Grammy-nominated singer, Tori Kelly, as the new face of their simple yet edgy collection.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino — Situation Nation
Although MTV’s “Jersey Shore” managed to last six seasons, Sorrentino’s leisure clothing line with Dilligaf did not have the same success. The reality TV star’s line, which included a range of products from track jackets to laundry bags, was a faction of Situation Nation Inc., a company co-founded with his brother Marc Sorrentino in 2011. Unfortunately, the brothers were charged with tax evasion and fraud in 2015. As the brothers await a trial date, it’s safe to say the company’s situation, for now, is being put on hold.
Kanye West — Yeezy x Adidas
Last month Yeezy’s BOOST 350 Adidas collection sold out yet again — this time in less than two hours. As West’s popularity continues to climb in the fashion world, it appears that people are willing to drop $200 or more on a pair of the rap legend’s sneakers but are less convinced to buy his $600 hoodies.
David Hasselhoff — Malibu Dave
Hasselhoff’s clothing line was as random as every public appearance the former Baywatch star has made within the last five years. The collection began with the success of his “Don’t Hassel the Hoff” T-shirt, which was inspired by his realization that he is “as popular as Elvis.” However, since his clothing line never made it past 2006, we’re unsure how he came to that conclusion.
Pharrell Williams — Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM
The “Happy” singer-songwriter and producer’s notable street style has maintained success for over a decade. William’s company offers everything from graphic T-shirts to sneakers to action figures, with a personal collection called ‘i am OTHER.’
Robert Kardashian — Arthur George
The reality star guarantees that his clothing company will at least help your feet make a statement. The unisex designer socks retail for $15, but compared to his sisters’ clothing collection, they aren’t expected to take over the hosiery scene, much less the fashion world.
