It’s that time of the year again—midterms. Take a breath, make some notecards and buy that double espresso. ORANGE has you covered with some tunes for this rough time.

If you’re into those classic instrumental sounds, “Passepied” by Punch Brothers, “Dust” by Zans Zimmer, “On Top of the World” by Vitamin String Quartet, “Xe3” by Mssigno and “Outlands” by Daft Punk are for you. These songs work well as background noise for studying.
If you definitely just failed that calculus exam or forgot to turn in that paper, listen to “Bounce Back,” by Big Sean. It’s a true classic for taking L’s in any situation.
“Your Soul” by Hippie Sabotage has a really happy feeling. If you need to take a breather, listen to this. “PA Nights,” by Mac Miller also has soft lyrics and instrumentals that would work well in any study session.
If you’re upset or angry over an exam, or just having to study in general, listen to “Ladders” by Witt Lowry, “Warm Up” by NF and “Ill Mind” by Hopsin.
“Show Me Love” by Hundred Waters and Chance the Rapper has an instrumental component and deeper lyrics. Listen to this one while studying a lighter subject matter, since it’s a melodic tune.
“Rock With Us” by Yung Pinch, “New Bae” by Vic Mensa, “Dead Roses” by Black Bear and “Two” by MOD SUN have a great mix of sounds. If you’re studying for an exam you know you’re going to ace, these lyrics in these songs are perfect for you.
