You may have slipped them food every now and then or haven’t been able to stop them in time when something falls on the floor. It is important to know what foods are healthy for your pup to eat and what can harm them.
The following three recipes are safe and simple, so you don’t have to worry about food falling on the ground and can even make a plate for your dog.
Banana and Peanut Butter Oatmeal

- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk you prefer)
- ½ cup oatmeal
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter

- Put the olive oil and mashed banana in a medium-sized saucepan on low heat.
- After the banana is heated, add the milk and oats, then stir.
- Add the oatmeal and stir until the peanut butter is fully mixed.
- Heat the oatmeal for 3 minutes or until the oatmeal has absorbed the milk fully.
- Enjoy!

- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Dice up the sweet potato into bite-sized chunks.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of the olive oil in a medium-sized pan and then add the sweet potatoes.
- Cover the pan and cook the potatoes for 15 minutes.
- Add the spinach and leftover tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and cook for another 10 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are fully cooked.
