The 21st annual Austin Film Festival was full of film screenings and red carpets, but not as much free food as I would have liked. Still, the festival somehow manages to get bigger and better every year. This year the panelists did not disappoint, and neither did the films. People from all around the world flew in for the chance to see small, independent films and to listen to successful writers talk about their journey and successes. I’m excited to see what next year’s festival will bring.
