The six-day extravaganza was nothing short of eventful and included everything from 90s denim grunge to the ever-chic black beret. Just in case you didn’t score a last minute ticket from Austin to Seoul, here’s a breakdown of key trends from the aspiring Eastern capital of fashion.
Okay Ladies, Now Let’s Get In Coordination
Twinning isn’t only happening at New York’s Fashion Week. Seoul’s most fashion forward couples slayed the day with identical ensembles. As you showcase some chic fabrics, bold prints and fun colors, it becomes obvious that matching with your ride or die is a plus.
White Out
Head-to-toe white outfits stuck out last week, gracing all our feeds with angelic looks of fashion purity anyone can get behind. Some outfits are just worth the dry cleaning bill.
Work-Wear Chic
One of the top trends was the oversize blazer look that has appeared at fashion weeks all over the world. Literally everyone looks incredible in it and can grow to love a good power blazer.
Long Overcoats
Coats also made a huge appearance, proving that the sky’s the limit (or rather, the floor) when it comes to playing with length and dimension of outerwear this season. Whether the coat comes in a classic nude or a fun pop of color, it goes with everything.
Fashion, but Make it Sporty
No one in Seoul appears to be trading style for comfort this week. Sporty spice’s energy must have been present, because bomber jackets, sneakers and ball caps were on every corner. This street style look might justify the current athleisure obsession.
