Fans gathered dressed as ghouls, goblins and even unicorns to watch the magic unfold. Big Freedia, accompanied by his dance troupe dressed as skeletons, stomped and shouted to the beat of the pounding raindrops, kicking off the performance.
The rain continued on as LCD Soundsystem’s lead singer, James Murphy, appeared on stage with spooky face paint and a wig. The band’s drummer, Pat Mahoney, was dressed as Chucky in the spirit of Halloween.
Performing tracks from their newest album, “American Dream,” along with older favorites, LCD Soundsystem played some tunes, while clowns, pirates, ghosts and princesses danced the night away under the stormy sky.
