At Austin City Limits Music Festival, standing out in a crowd of thousands seems impossible, but you can distinguish your unique style with your own festival flag. The process is simple and inexpensive—not requiring much more than your sense of creativity. It’s guaranteed there will be a sea of burnt orange and longhorns, so come up with something that connects to you personally. Check out the video below for a DIY guide from the ORANGE team:
Supplies Used:
- 7 ounce canvas (pre-primed)
- paint (orange, copper, and silver)
- oil based Sharpies (black)
- brushes
- styrofoam bowls (4)
- paper towels
Festival flags not only allow you to express your style, but they’re a great idea to minimize the chance of people in your group straying and getting lost. Remember your safety is of utmost importance, and a useful means of ensuring it this weekend is by taking your own custom-made ACL flag. We hope to see it waving in the wind!
