A$AP Ferg stopped in Austin for his Mad Men Tour. The show was completely sold-out and the fans were eager to push to the front of the stage. Ferg started with songs from his “Ferg Forever” mixtape, proving that the fans in the audience were long-time followers as they rapped along with him.
Although A$AP has been performing as a solo artist for years, he originally started as a member of a collective hip-hop group called A$AP Mob. In 2006, a group of creatives got together in Harlem, New York and created one of the greatest hip-hop collectives ever formed. Many artists successfully made a career from the “mob” but two particularly well-known rappers emerged, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg. Ferg rapped the “Work REMIX” which he collaborated on with A$AP Rocky in 2013.
A$AP Ferg’s “Mad Men Tour” is scheduled to travel to thirty different cities across the country and has proven to be successful with multiple sold-out shows. The fans at Emo’s were more than excited to see Ferg’s show, as some fans waited hours to get inside the venue. IDK and Denzel Curry opened the show, bringing the crowds energy to an all-time high before A$AP took the stage. As the well-known song “Shabba” ended the night, the show was one to remember with a rapper that no one will forget.
