Christmas comes early for vinyl lovers every year. They flock to record stores across the nation to buy special releases and reissues by their favorite artists.

This year’s Record Store Day falls on April 21, so here are some releases to look out for.
Arcade Fire, “EP”
This is a reissue of the band’s debut EP, which was recorded in 2002, and will be the first time it has been pressed onto vinyl.

Courtney Barnett, “City Looks Pretty”/ “Sunday Roast”
The 12” vinyl will feature a sneak peek at two new songs from her upcoming album, set to be released on May 18.

Mac DeMarco and Shamir, “Beat Happening Covers”
The duo covers two songs originally by Beat Happening, an indie pop band from the ‘80s. All sale proceeds will go to Immigrant Defense Project, an organization that works within the legal system to ensure greater levels of justice.

Phoenix, “Monologue”
The exclusive track from their last album, “Ti Amo,” will be pressed onto a darling red heart shaped 7” vinyl.

Sufjan Stevens, “Mystery of Love”
This EP features the three songs the artist contributed to the “Call Me By Your Name” soundtrack, including the Academy Award nominated title track and will be pressed onto a translucent vinyl.
