A style struggle that college kids find themselves facing is where to shop for jeans. They might feel too old for the usual American Eagle jeans or the Hollister pair that has been worn down after all those high school days.

Here are some top places to be checking out when you have no idea where to go for a new pair of jeans.
Saks Off Fifth
Although Saks Off Fifth sounds like a fancy store in New York City, a lot of the denim on their website is discounted by 50 percent or more. They sell high-end denim such as Joe’s Jeans, rag & bone and J Brand at decently-marked prices.

Nordstrom Rack
Nordstrom Rack is the place to shop for discounted Nordstrom items. Although the pricing is still up there, most jeans are within a reasonable price range. What’s even better is that there is a Nordstrom Rack in Austin, so there is a way to try them on in person before buying.

Joe Fresh
Joe Fresh probably has the highest range of sizes for their customers in the denim department. You might not have heard of this store before, but you will remember their well-priced jeans.

Bershka
Bershka is all online, so if sizing is a concern, always try ordering a little bigger. The store sells pretty cheap jeans, but with quality material. The style of jeans range from regular skinny jeans, to some mom jeans with side detailing. The cheapest pair are around $20. Unfortunately, the largest size they sell here is a size 10.

Local Thrift Stores
Never forget just how handy your local Goodwill can be. There are always some vintage Levi’s hanging around the racks there, so buy a pair and cut them up if you need a pair of jean shorts. Maybe even add some holes if you’re wanting a distressed look. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on cutting up denim for this style. Never underestimate the power of DIY.
