Zilker Trail of Lights
December 10-23
The Zilker Trail of Lights may seem over-hyped, but there’s a reason it’s so popular. Zilker Park decked out in creative, sprawling light displays is a must-see. For only $3 each, take your cinnamon apple on a date that is cheesy, festive and super fun.
Gingerbread Village at the Four Seasons
November 20-December 25
This free annual event hosted by the Four Seasons features 11 handcrafted “traditional-meets-modern” gingerbread houses that represent some of Austin’s most iconic neighborhoods. There’s even a house modeled after City Hall. This year’s theme is “White Christmas”, so you and your bae can sip complimentary hot apple cider in the snow, even if it’s 70 degrees outside.
Mozart’s Coffee Holiday Light Show
November 16-January 2
If you want the chance to show off your cutie on Snapchat, head to Mozart’s Coffee! The classic coffee shop on the Colorado River has a breathtaking collection of holiday lights on their waterfront patio. Not only are the lights beautiful, the coffee and baked treats are also delicious!
Rooftop Ice Skating at Whole Foods
November 23-January 21
Share a unforgettable evening at the downtown Whole Foods for rooftop ice skating! For $10 a person, you and your boo can twirl under the stars and lights downtown. If you’re like me, you’ll also have a fun night picking each other up off the rink. After skating, head downstairs for a massive selection of treats ranging from mochi ice cream to sushi burritos.
