In the center of a cross and stained glass windows stood My Life as Ali Thomas, taking music as religion to a whole new level.
Story by Hayli Rudolph
The Thailand natives made their South by Southwest debut this year, gracing the Central Presbyterian Church on March 14. The quartet’s mellow and refreshing sound is unlike any other. On lead vocals and guitar, Pie Kanyapak Wuttara sang of love and heartbreak with nothing but absolute grace and poise. Listening to the alt indie band you’re guaranteed to smile ear to ear. The sounds is full, upbeat and even emotional at times, the makings of a soundtrack to a perfect day.
If you have wiggle room in your schedule this week, check them out for their final show at SXSW at the Flatstock on Friday. If you can’t make it, I recommend booking a flight to Thailand. You aren’t gonna wanna miss this.
