Your online shopping dreams are about to come true.
Imagine a world of shopping where there is not a need for desperate screenshots or hunting down look-alike pieces to try to recreate those adorable outfits you see on your favorite style blogger’s Instagram. Now, with a few quick taps of the thumb, you can have access to all the clothes of the fashionistas you follow.
LIKEtoKNOW.it is an online service that allows fashion obsessed social media users to get ready-to-shop product links from Instagram posts sent directly to their email. Founded in 2014 by Baxter Box and Amber Venz Box, LIKEtoKNOW.it sets out to answer a simple question, “Where did you GET that?”
Like her shoes? Check BlueFly. How about that wrap top? Bebe. One of those super cute cheetah clutches that everyone seems to have this season? Snag it from Piperlime. From clothing to accessories to home décor, LIKEtoKNOW.it’s personalized experience is designed to please the everyday online shopper.
How can you sign up for this fashion-forward service?
First, register your email address and connect your Instagram account on www.liketoknow.it. After logging in online, the LIKEtoKNOW.it page pulls up randomized photos from accounts of fashion bloggers who are registered with rewardSTYLE. From here you can click on a blogger’s photo — their Instagram feed with LIKEtoKNOW.it links will be displayed. Not only can you browse their most recent looks, but you can like the photo and have links sent to your inbox from there.
Think of LIKEtoKNOW.it as the online yellow pages of style bloggers. It serves as a way to familiarize yourself with style bloggers you may have previously overlooked.
Fashion bloggers who are registered with rewardSTYLE can choose links from one of the 20,000 fashion and lifestyle brands they endorse. Bloggers must have an account that is registered with rewardSTYLE to be able to use LIKEtoKNOW.it. They can even earn money by selling products from their Instagram.
Stephanie Gawlik, a UT Fashion Merchandising student and LIKEtoKNOW.it campus influencer, uses the service when she posts on her style Instagram. She recently began curating her Instagram — which is dedicated to her personal style — and has been using LIKEtoKNOW.it as a way to connect to her new followers. “It’s completely different when you have your personal account and when you have your fashion account,” Gawlik says. “The feedback I have gotten is super, super positive.”
With so many links at your fingertips, how will your closet change?
