Clear your schedule for these wicked and terrifying performances, activities and free fun this week at the University of Texas at Austin, leading up to the night of Halloween. These events are free with a student ID and located on campus, so grab your costumes, get dressed up and get pumped for the big week!

Wednesday, October 28: Campus E+E Showtime and Creative Arts + Theater’s “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”
Campus Events + Entertainment’s factions Showtime and Creative Arts + Theater have teamed up to present “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” featuring UT’s very own shadow-cast. Quote, sing and dance along to this classic film and live performance. Be sure to dress up as your favorite Rocky characters, too. Free prop bags will be provided, so the experience will be completely interactive. The show starts at 9 p.m. at the Texas Union Theater.
Thursday, October 29: Trick or Treat Bake Sale
The Tau chapter of sorority Sigma Delta Tau is holding an enormous bake sale packed with sweet treats. All proceeds will go to Prevent Child Abuse America , so buy a cookie, celebrate Halloween and support a good cause. The chapter will be accepting cash, credit and Venmo for payment. Find them at Gregory Plaza between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Thursday, October 29: Haunted House
Hosted by Campus Events + Entertainment Recreation, the annual free haunted house at Gregory Plaza is a great way to celebrate — and practice your screams — before Halloween arrives. Free candy will be given to participating students while it lasts, so get there on time with your scream team. The house opens its doors at 7 p.m. and closes at 11 p.m.
Friday, October 30: Queens of Texas: Scream Queens
Queens of Texas have spent months preparing a unique, Halloween-themed lineup for your viewing pleasure. Watch as these talented performers model, dance and lip-synch in full makeup and costume to classic creepy Halloween music. These performances are each individually choreographed, so go and support these students’ originality, creativity and athleticism in this jaw-dropping cabaret. The show starts at 8 p.m. in the Student Activity Center Ballroom.
