Local musicians and vendors gathered and tuned in for Austin Music Foundation’s second annual “Feel the Love” Music Industry Expo at Emo’s Eastside Showroom Feb. 11. “Feel the Love” included local non-profits and support organizations for the Austin music industry.

Austin’s Mayor Steve Adler made an address, discussing issues like local venues closing, loss of affordable housing and future initiatives coming to support and help growth for the music industry in Austin. “We will continue to lose artists, musician, teachers and working folks. Austin needs help,” Adler Says. “We are a cool city, but there’s nothing worse than being a city that used to be the cool city. Those cities have a music museum downtown. We’ve got to do better than that.”
