As I walked up the hill to the Texas Capitol on the morning of October 2nd, it became clear that I’d underestimated the sheer scale of the Women’s March.

On Saturday, 50,000 people joined together on Capitol grounds for the largest march in the city and, as one of the speakers said at the event, the largest gathering of women in Texas history.
